Extended Sound for Glenbrook Theatre

Glenbrook Cinema, the first cinema in this region to install stereophonic sound, Dolby SR, DTS digital and Dolby Digital sound, has again taken the lead to install the newest advance in surround sound: Circle Surround for Digital ES. Digital ES Extended Surround gives a seventh channel of digital sound reproduction, with surround left, surround right and, now, surround rear. The extra channel can be decoded from any digital sound track where the recording engineer intended sound to pan around the cinema or come from behind the audience. Digital ES enhances the experience of cinema entertainment. The new system is ready for future creative sound developments, such as overhead and "off-stage" effects.
